Job Overview
We're seeking a Bubble.io expert with significant XANO backend experience for a long-term collaboration. This role requires approximately 100 hours per month commitment, with flexible scheduling.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
Located in Western Europe or the United States
Minimum 2 years of professional experience building Bubble.io applications
Minimum 1 year of experience working with XANO backends
Advanced Bubble.io Competencies:
Proficiency in creating and managing reusable elements and overcoming SPA (Single Page Application) limitations
Strong JavaScript skills and experience implementing custom code within Bubble
Expert knowledge of API integrations and security principles (authentication, data encryption, secure API practices)
Advanced debugging and troubleshooting skills for complex Bubble applications
Strong understanding of Bubble.io's capabilities, limitations, and best practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and fluency in English
Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively
Nice to Have:
Experience with other no-code/low-code tools (Airtable, Zapier, Make, etc.)
Knowledge of JavaScript for custom code when necessary
Experience with database design and optimization
Experience working with design systems or UI libraries
Previous work with responsive design and mobile optimization
Responsibilities:
Design and develop complex Bubble.io applications from scratch or improve existing ones
Create and maintain XANO backends for our applications
Build modular, maintainable applications using reusable elements and design patterns
Implement custom JavaScript solutions for functionality beyond Bubble's native capabilities
Develop secure and efficient API integrations following best security practices
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues and performance bottlenecks
Optimize application performance and user experience
Document development processes and provide knowledge transfer
Collaborate with our team on planning and implementation
Provide regular updates and participate in project meetings as needed
