Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced web developer to build an MVP for a unique review and rating platform. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of front-end and back-end development, including but not limited to user interface design, database management, and API integration.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with our team to understand project requirements and translate them into functional web pages and applications.
Design, develop, and test web applications and APIs that meet quality standards.
Suggest and implement improvements in existing features to enhance user experience and performance.
Maintain updated knowledge of the development industry and any advancements in technology.
Skills Required:
Proficient in modern front-end web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, along with frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Experience with back-end development, preferably with Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails, or PHP.
Strong knowledge of database management, SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with API design and development.
Understanding of responsive web design to ensure optimal viewing experience across various devices.
Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
Good understanding of SEO principles.
Optional but Preferred:
Experience with developing review and rating systems or social platforms is a big plus.
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
