Rebranding Jitsi Meet with Your Identity

Job ID: 39344390

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

We are seeking a skilled freelance developer with solid experience in WebRTC and socket programming to perform a targeted re-branding of the open-source Jitsi Meet codebase. Your primary responsibility will be to replace all Jitsi Meet logos, colors, and brand names (both in UI and underlying assets) with our own logo and branding guidelines. No additional feature development or deep customization is required—just a clean, end-to-end re-branding that compiles and runs without errors.

Scope of Work
Branding Assets Integration

Replace the Jitsi Meet logo in all contexts (header, loading screens, error pages, mobile icons, favicons).

Swap out any default color schemes (e.g., primary/secondary button colors) to match our brand palette.

Update the application name (e.g., window title, metadata, installer name) to our brand name.

Codebase Search & Replace

Identify all occurrences of “Jitsi”, “Meet”, and related trademarks in HTML/JSX, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript source files.

Update package.json, README.md, and any CI/CD or deployment scripts to reflect the new project name.

Ensure no broken references—run global search & replace followed by manual verification.

Build & Test

Install dependencies and run the existing build process (npm install / yarn, make dev / mvn, etc.).

Verify that the re-branded application launches correctly in desktop, mobile.

Perform end-to-end smoke tests: joining/leaving a room, screen sharing, chat, recording.

Documentation Update

Update README, user guide, and any sample configuration files.

Provide a brief “Branding Integration Report” listing files modified and instructions for future updates.

Required Skills & Experience
WebRTC Expertise: Hands-on experience with real-time communication protocols and libraries.

Socket Programming: Comfortable tracing and understanding socket connections (e.g., XMPP, WebSockets) within JavaScript/TypeScript.

Front-End Development: Strong skills in React (or Preact), CSS/SCSS, and asset management.

Build Tools: Familiarity with Jitsi’s build stack (Node.js, Gradle/Maven, Docker, etc.).

Attention to Detail: Proven ability to perform thorough code searches, asset swaps, and manual QA.

Bonus: Prior contributions to Jitsi Meet or similar open-source WebRTC projects.

Deliverables
A forked GitHub repository named after our brand, with a complete commit history of your changes.

All replaced assets (SVG, PNG, ICO) and updated CSS variables.

A short report (“branding-report.md”) detailing:

List of files changed

Build & run commands

Any caveats or outstanding items

Confirmation that the app builds and runs successfully on at least two environments (e.g., Chrome desktop & mobile).
