React JS To PHP Backend Integration

This is a note from my backend dev.
I looked at the frontend code, and the developer did a great job. Now, as I start working on the backend, I'll create API endpoints that need to be connected with the frontend. I need to collaborate with the frontend developer so we can both talk about which APIs I should work on and what kind of data they need me to provide.
For example, there's a page with a form that allows users to upload images. On the backend, I'll write code to accept the images and store them in the database. However, on the frontend, the developer needs to show a message indicating whether the image upload was successful or not. Currently, the application only displays JavaScript alerts, which isn't ideal. The messages should be shown within the webpage itself.
