Raspberry Pi Time Lapse System Design
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I'm in need of an expert who can help me build a custom Raspberry Pi time lapse system. This system will need to be fully manual control and utilize gphoto2 software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build the Raspberry Pi system from scratch
- Customize it to allow full manual control over the time lapse shots
- Integrate built-in sensors for humidity, temperature, and battery capacity
- Set up for error alerts via email
The system should allow me to easily adjust and fine-tune for each shot. It should be equipped with sensors that measure humidity, temperature, and battery capacity. The system must be able to alert me of any errors that occur during operation via Email.
I also need assistance creating a web app that will allow me to:
- Start/Stop the time lapse
- Adjust camera settings
- Monitor sensor data
The web app should notify me of:
- Battery low
- Device is turned off
- Photos not uploaded to server at preset time
- Full capacity
- Out of 4G network bandwidth
- Temperature exceeding preset threshold
Ideal skills for this project include experience with Raspberry Pi, gphoto2, sensor integration, and web app development.
The web app should be developed in Python. The Raspberry Pi time lapse system should be compatible with a DSLR camera. The web app should feature a graphical interface for camera control. Provide full manual control over camera settings in the web app. The web app should be accessible remotely. The remote access to the web app should be available via any web browser.
