Puppeteer & Chromium ($500)
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I WILL NOT AWARD THIS PROJECT TO ANYONE - I WILL ALLOW PEOPLE TO CONSULT ME - AND I WILL COORDINATE WITH THE TEAM - IF YOU DEMONSTRATE VALUE - SOLVE ISSUES - I HAVE NO PROBLEM PAYING YOU WEEKLY & THEN GIVING YOU MORE ACCESS TO OUR SYSTEM - I OWN AN AUTOMOTIVE SOFTWARE COMPANY.
We have a desktop app that runs locally on the users work computer, we have a lot of logs, it's an electionjs app with nodejs backend using puppeteer and chromium / chrome headless browser to do some automated actions on the users personal facebook profile.
When we check the errors in logs there is no clear issue or logs to help solve this issue.
For example, today i check the logs of a user, his app had activity around 2 - 5am (it was working working working) then all of a sudden, it stop.
So i spoke with him in the morning and told him - when he gets to the computer - don't open or close the app - ignore it - and let's jump on zoom.
Later on we joined a zoom meeting and i found his app was in fact, open, running.
But nothing was happening or working (meaning puppeteer wasn't doing the actions)
I logged out the app, and opened it using an environment variable, so i could see the browser in action.
The session on his facebook account was still valid, so no issue there.
and once we restart, logged back in, the app was back to doing actions.
I think there are possible issues with new versions of puppeteer / chrome - compatibality - and im looking for someone who is extremely savy when it comes to logging and debugging, etc.
