Prestashop Remote Development
Budget: €6 – €12 EUR
We're looking for an experienced prestashop developer that can follow best practices and is comfortable working with symfony/console commands in prestashop.
The goal will be to help us in many tasks like:
module / theme bug squashing
module / theme improvements
module / theme upgrade
new backend functionality
css changes
structural changes in the frontend
Our website is a Prestashop 1.7.5.2 however we plan to upgrade to latest version.
The project is managed in Github with issues so you need to be comfortable in creating pull requests and submitting your work in a presentable manner. We will create a private fork for this.
We bundle our extra assets with webpack and you need to be comfortable using it as well.
You should work on your local environment and provide us with working code through PRs so we can test whenever needed.
Because we are based in the EU, a confidentiality agreement will need to be signed due to GDPR.
The code you provide will be reviewed and validated for functionality first and for quality as an important factor.
Please pay especial attention to security issues and vulnerabilities especially sql injections because Prestashop doesn't handle it well.
Fake bids, automated bids, people who are slacking and people who can't communicate properly in English will be disqualified. We ignore candidates who try to raise bids afterwards.
Please read the project description carefully before responding and we'll require a small introduction session to assess your expertise before awarding the project. We'll have to request freelancer for special permission for this.
