Note: applicants for this position will be asked to perform a paid hands-on coding test to match a Zeplin design that can be completed in 8 hours or less.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled React Developer to join our team as a permanent team member. The successful candidate will work with a team of developers to deliver new features and enhancements to our web applications, ensuring they remain intuitive and user-friendly. The primary focus of this role is on developing the user interface of our web applications to be pixel perfect matches to Zeplin designs created by the design team.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the team to design and develop the user interface of our web applications from Zeplin mockups.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using React, JavaScript, and related technologies with a focus on pixel-perfect design.
Work with the team to identify areas for improvement in the current UI design and suggest solutions to enhance the user experience.
Work with other teams, including UX designers and product managers, to ensure that the UI meets user requirements and is in line with the overall product vision.
Participate in regular team meetings, code reviews, and other team activities.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience as a React developer, with a focus on UX.
Experience with CSS and CSS preprocessors like Sass or Less.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Experience with software development tools such as Git, Jira, and Visual Studio Code.
Expertise in developing pixel-perfect designs from Zeplin mockups.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
