People Transport Optimization Web App
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a web application that will optimize a transportation routes.
Application inputs should be:
- Fleet of vehicles, each vehicle carrying capacity and price for each (euros per kilometer).
- Name of places (villages and towns) with employees in each. Employees should have an attributes of ID number;
First and Last name; Department name; work position; team name.
- Manually marking existing transportation stops and use them for calculations.
- Destination will be the same for all routes.
- (May use similar parameters as shown in example link below)
Application output should be a marked routes with stopes in maps, which vehicle should go on that route, how many people it should pick up on each stop and list of people that should be present on each stop. Also a table of estimated time of arrival for each vehicle to each stop and kilometers for each stop and in total.
Main purpose of this application is to create a most cost effective transportation with full traceability of costs. It should avoid using more vehicles then needed, overlapping routes, balance between vehicle load and milage to find a best cost effective solution.
It may be done using Google Maps or OpenStreetMaps. (Or suggest any other tool)
