Page Element finder/clicker on 2 tabs
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
The project involves finding interactive elements such as buttons and text on two pages with different URLs, but with the same interface.
The ideal candidate should have experience with JavaScript and google chrome plugins.
I have a chorme extension that can look for an element on the page and click it as soon as it appears. I need the chrome plugin JS script expanded to:
(the html elements below are examples, I'll send you the actual html elements later.)
1. Search for answerCall = <a>Click to Answer</a> element on two chrome windows/tabs at the same time.
2. When the answerCall element is found and clicked on one of the pages, script pauses looking for answerCall element on both pages to avoid clicking it on other page. Only one page should have it clicked at one time.
3. Look for isAvailable = <div color="green">Click to go Offline</div> element on both pages, when isAvailable is on both pages, the script resumes looking for answerCall element to click it on either page. isAvailable will only be present on both pages once the call has ended where answerCall was clicked.
the webpage that will be open is a callcenter type app, where calls come in and the first clicker takes the call.
I cannot give access to the page where the script will run, but I can send you the html elements to look for and click, so the plugin needs to have input fields where I can enter identifying information of the elements to look for or be hardcoded to look for the stipulated elements.
I've attached the existing chrome plugin project, note that it searches for the element at a 1 millisecond interval.
You can open the project in chrome by enabling dev mode in the plugins settings page of chrome.
