Need help with wix velo

I have a blog site on wix which I am trying to update using wix velo code. I have already written the whole code but I am struggling a bit with the wix dataquery. I am trying to do simple DB operations like read from a collection (table) & write (insert, update) in another collection (table) by referencing on primary key/foreign key relationship on the ID field. I guess I am having issues because the data query returns results slowly while the remaining wix code is executed in parallel. I need it to be executed only after the data query is executed.

I need someone to help me on a consulting basis to fix the code & get it running.
