# Project Specification: Frontend Developer for Multi-Site Portfolio Platform

## Project Overview

We are looking for an experienced frontend developer to contribute to an ongoing
project that involves managing multiple sites built with an atomic design
framework using **React**, **Vite**, **Vitest**, **Storybook**, and **ESM**.
You will collaborate with a cross-functional team, including backend, frontend,
and DevOps members, on an application designed for users and companies to
create and manage their product portfolios, which can either be reviewed or
sold in a marketplace format.

## Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the frontend, backend, and DevOps teams to integrate
and enhance the existing frontend framework.
- Implement features that support multiple authentication methods, such
as **Google**, **Instagram**, **Facebook**, and other providers.
- Develop tools for users and companies to create and manage their product
portfolios easily.
- Implement marketplace-style functionalities that enable product listings,
reviews, and purchases.
- Utilize the atomic design framework and tools like **Vite**, **Vitest**,
and **Storybook** to build modular, maintainable components.
- Ensure smooth communication and collaboration with backend and DevOps teams,
leveraging their expertise to integrate frontend features effectively.

## Technical Stack
- **Frontend**: React, Atomic Design Framework, Vite
- **Testing**: Vitest
- **UI Component Development**: Storybook
- **Module System**: ESM (ECMAScript Modules)
- **Architecture**: Microservices (Backend handled by a dedicated team)

## Important Notes
- **Backend Integration**: You will **not** be handling backend development
directly; instead, you'll work within an existing microservices
architecture deployed using **Docker**. It is crucial that you have
experience with microservices and Docker to effectively collaborate with
the backend and DevOps teams.
- **Collaboration**: Your focus will be on enhancing frontend functionality
while leveraging the existing backend microservices. You’ll work closely
with backend and DevOps team members to ensure seamless integration and
data flow between the services.

## Project Goals
- Efficiently use and extend the existing frontend framework while integrating
seamlessly with the microservices-based backend.
- Develop authentication features supporting various login methods and enhance
user and company account management functionalities.
- Build modular, reusable components based on atomic design principles to ensure
scalability and maintainability.
- Work alongside backend and DevOps teams to ensure frontend features align with
the overall architecture and service deployment strategy.
