Modify a React weather forecast webapp weather app built with Next.js, Zustand, SWR and Base Web UI
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I am looking for a developer to modify a weather forecast webapp ( https://boltweather.netlify.app/ ) built with Next.js, Zustand, SWR, and Base Web UI in order to convert it into a functional website.
The specific modifications needed for the webapp include adding new weather parameters provided by the OpenWeatherMap API, (we can use worldweatheronline API as well) such as:
- search based on cities in database (jqueryui autocomplete widget)
- hourly weather table for today from 3h to 3h: https://prnt.sc/vddGWIHw4B7w
- hourly weather table for tommorow
- weather table for next 14 days (day_name, date (eg. 19 september), max_temp,min_temp,weather_icon,weather_description,wind_speed)
- header, footer, 3 static pages (to be able to add them in footer)
- metatitle/metadescription using weather now {} for temp, max_temp, min_temp, weather_description and wind
The API provides data in json or xml for each pair of coordinates; All cordinates are set in a .csv file with city name, county, lat, long. See what I want in the attached png.
The new features that I would like to add to the webapp include extended forecast options.
The site will have a homepage and the city page.
The deadline for the completion of these modifications is within a week.
Ideal skills and experience for this job include:
- Proficiency in Next.js, Zustand, SWR, and Base Web UI
- Experience in UI/UX improvements
- Knowledge of integrating with other weather data sources
- Familiarity with location-based weather alerts
