Modernize Retail Web App UI/UX

Need a skilled frontend/full-stack developer to overhaul UI/UX and modernize our existing Retail Solutions web apps.

Details of what you need help with

We’re a South African retail tech startup building internal and client-facing web tools for our Retail Solutions platform.
Our current apps work, but the UI/UX is outdated and inconsistent. We had a designer build new UI layouts, but the implementation repo was poorly done and non-functional.

We now need a frontend-heavy fullstack developer to:

Take the existing UI designs from the broken repo and properly integrate them into our working production branch — or create a new, better UI/UX design if that’s faster.

Clean up a lot of spaghetti frontend code (mostly HTML, JS, and some React components).

Provide technical guidance on UI best practices, performance improvements, and front-end structure.

Optionally help us migrate to a consistent React-based framework, creating a reusable theme/template for all our web tools.

Our goal is to achieve a modern, branded, professional interface that matches our Retail Solutions identity (black theme with a subtle fade rainbow accent).

We’re looking for someone experienced in clean, modular frontend architecture, who can collaborate over short-term sprints and deliver tangible improvements fast.

Deliverables

Refactored, working frontend for our main tool (4-page app).

Improved or redesigned UI for the remaining tools.

Clean, reusable React component/theme system.

Recommendations for code and structure improvements.
