Mobile Responsive Fixes for GovtHunt

Job ID: 39971565

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I run GovtHunt.com, a CodeIgniter site that serves a lot of tabular data. On desktop everything looks fine, yet on mobile phones the layout breaks: data tables spill past the viewport, headings shrink or balloon unpredictably, and the overall mobile experience feels clunky—especially on the homepage and our product/service listings.

Here’s what I need from you:

• Rein in table overflow so columns stay readable on small screens (stacking, responsive scroll, or another elegant solution—whatever fits best).
• Adjust font scaling so text remains legible without zoom, following best-practice fluid typography.
• Audit and fine-tune breakpoints, meta-viewport settings, and CSS/JS interactions to deliver a smooth, touch-friendly experience across common iOS and Android devices.

Acceptance criteria
• No horizontal scroll on the homepage or product/service pages at 360-414 px widths.
• All tables display fully without truncation; if scroll is used, it must feel native and unobtrusive.
• Lighthouse mobile score ≥ 90 and font CLS issues resolved.

The codebase is clean HTML5, CSS (a Bootstrap-like framework), vanilla JavaScript, and CodeIgniter views. Please be comfortable working directly in those layers, documenting any snippets you add or replace so I can maintain them later. If you can start soon, point me to two or three sites where you fixed similar responsive issues, and let’s get this wrapped up quickly.
