Mirth Connect DICOM Interfaces Setup
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need working DICOM channels in my Mirth Connect 3.x (NexGen) instance so our PACS and other systems can exchange studies smoothly. Specifically, I want a Storage SCP that reliably receives images, a channel that accepts DICOM Structured Reports, and a Modality Worklist provider we can point our modalities to for scheduling data. All three interfaces should be built and tested inside Mirth, not external services.
At the moment I’m unsure whether we’ll add custom transformations, so please design the channels cleanly and leave room for scripted filters or JavaScript steps we might plug in later. If you already have best-practice scripts or dcm4che utilities that speed the job up, feel free to use them.
Deliverables
• XML export of each channel (Image Receiver, SR Receiver, MWL Provider) ready to import into Mirth 3.x
• A short deployment guide listing AE titles, ports, and any required global variables
• Test evidence: screenshots or logs showing a sample image, SR, and MWL query completing successfully
