Mining Pool -- 2
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
Looking for an experienced BITCOIN blockchain, web developer / coding partner that can create (from the ground up if necessary) a new unique secure bitcoin mining pool.
I am not looking for a replica of any existing open source pools that currently exist however, the source code can be used from such open source code to create this new pool with the full understanding that the code must be fully tested for bugs and security holes. Emphasis on secure.
100% SOURCE CODE MUST BE MADE AVAILABLE DURING THIS ENTIRE PROJECT
Key targets that must be met during this project are:
1. Continued development must be factored in. Long term partnership not a one off job.
2. Source code must be made available for 3rd party security audits.
3. The Pool must run on the most recent version of Ubuntu.
4. Miners must be able to use all types of Bitcoin Addresses from Legacy, Segwit to taproot...
5. Stratum V2 protocol should be an option for those that want to use it.
6. Wallet less payout, NO POOL wallet system. (Payouts must occur immediately at coinbase / coin creation)
7. Pool must use a single variable difficulty port for all miners regardless of hashrate or equipment.
8. Pool must also offer a high difficulty port for rented hashpower.
9. Pool must be designed to be redundant in nature with the ability to failover to a secondary server in the event of server failure.
10. Miners must be able to have a way of identifying each of their miners if they choose using the example BTCADDRESS.WORKERNAME
11. Miners must have detailed stats with clearly visible charts to show their individual stats. For example: Total shares submitted, highest difficulty share submitted since last block found, highest difficulty share ever submitted to the pool, Date /time miner first seen, Current hashrate per miner, hashrate based on last 5 minutes, 1 hour and blocks found.
12. Multiple globally placed stratum servers must be able to connect to the main pool providing miners with better connectivity to reduce their network latency to the pool.
13. Miner that is the block finder must receive a reward that is configurable and editable easily by % of the block reward.
14. Miner that is the block finder must receive the tx fees associated with finding the block.
15. Remaining % of the reward must be editable and configurable to be split with the active miners on the pool at the time when the block was found.
16. Editable and configurable % of the reward should go to the server admin for upkeep and development.
17. Pool must provide detailed stats and charts showing total effective current hashrate, total # of active miners, Efficientcy of shares being submitted vs rejected, average hashrate for the past 24 hours, average hashrate for the past 7 days, average hashrate for the past 30 days, local server time, current BTC network difficulty, The Block number that the pool is currently working on, Report on how far past 10 minutes the last block found on the network, Server "Luck", blocks found by the pool in the past, Records of the payouts on each block found.
18. Identify the type of chip that is connecting to the pool so that stats can be made on which types of miners (CPU,GPU,FPGA or ASIC) are working on the pool with the option to show which type of chip has solved x number of blocks.
19. Pool stats should be dynamic so that they show miners their potential payout page to give active miners an idea of what their payout would be if a block was to be found at that time.
20. Pool source code built will be exclusively used for this project and not shared with others.
21. Open Source Code examples that will be needed to be re-written to complete this project include:
bitbucket.org/ckolivas/ckpool/src/master/
github.com/jtoomim/p2pool/
22. BitcoinCore Experience MANDATORY
So if you are a coding guru and want to build this with us and be part of the next big BTC mining pool then please provide examples of your work. Specifically, Bitcoin and or blockchain related projects.
