A car rental company decided to create a system to make the renting process automatic. The types of cars they have are trucks, regular cars, SUVs, Minivans, Luxury cars, and Vans. The duration for renting the car can start from 1 day till two weeks. Also, there is another option for customers, which is renting a car with a driver. Students need to develop an app to manage the queries for renting the cars. Using this system • A customer can always check on his/her preferred date to see how many of his/her desired cars is available. Also, there is some other information available about the features of the cars. • A customer uses this system to request a car, and add essential information, and a driver’s license. • A customer can add some information about some parts of the car that need to be repaired. • A customer can search for a driver in this system for a specific time. • Web apps need to support this system. • A manager can add new cars to the list and remove some of them from the list. • A manager needs to track whether everything is working correctly in the car. If something is wrong with the car and the customer did that, they need to add extra charges to the customer. • A manager must remove a car from the list that needs to be repaired and add it whenever everything in the car is working correctly. • A manager will check the gas source before renting and after getting it back, and the amount of gas should be the same. • A manager can also keep track of all the customers that are currently using the cars. • Manager can add any discounts to the cars and drivers. • Other helpful functions can be added to this system as well.
