Magento 2.4 Layout Issues on Homepage...
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
NEEDED SKILL IS
Magento, EXPERIENCED NEED from magento, not want, not can, but HAVE experience
Description:
We are looking for an experienced Magento 2.4.3 developer to complete the final set of changes on our website. This is a short-term project with a focus on frontend design improvements, functionality restoration, and SEO optimization. This is likely 1-2 days of work only since it involves small adjustments to finalize the results. All is prepared, and most of the work already exists, so do not come up with excessive estimates and stop wasting my time. All changes must be responsive, and adjustments to responsiveness should not be considered as separate tasks.
Task List (Estimated Time in Minutes):
1. Split banners into Banner1: slide1 + slide3, Banner2: slide2 + slide3. This is done using Mirasvit Promobanner. The slides are already created, they just need to be duplicated and reduced. Adjust dates from September to October, shrink some QR codes, and refine smaller banners. (40 minutes)
2. Change the design layout on the product page by moving horizontal images and videos into a vertical list format for better visual organization. Ensure these changes are fully responsive across all devices. (45 minutes)
3. Verify and correct the free shipping text to ensure that "Free shipping on all products" is displayed properly when shipping is free. If the value is above zero, ensure that the banner dynamically displays "Add another xx to get free shipping." The previous developer removed this functionality, but the original code exists in Git and should be restored. (25 minutes)
4. Reformat the "Frequently Bought Together" section to reduce text, removing unnecessary brand and SKU details while ensuring that the full product names are clearly visible to users. (Delete code simply for SKU and brand fields, show me and I can do it too) (30 minutes)
5. Check spelling of all brand labels, correcting any instance of "Brabd" to "Brand" for consistency across the site. (15 minutes)
6. Change the background color of the Gift Card section to hex code #E2E2E2, ensuring it aligns with the new site aesthetics. (10 minutes)
7. **Resolve the following red and yellow URL issues** (Consolidated time: 195 minutes):
- 404 page issues and 4XX page issues (shared 60 minutes)
- Broken redirect (45 minutes)
- HTTPS page has internal links to HTTP (30 minutes)
- Page has links to redirect (40 minutes)
- Canonical URL points to redirect (60 minutes)
- Page has only one dofollow incoming internal link (30 minutes)
- Meta description too long (30 minutes)
- Title tag changed (45 minutes)
- H1 tag changed (45 minutes)
- Multiple H1 tags on the same page (15 minutes)
- Orphan page (45 minutes)
- Redirect chain (15 minutes)
- HTTP to HTTPS redirect (30 minutes)
**Note**: There are more issues, but they will be handled in the robots.txt file, which I will take care of myself.
8. Import pre-prepared text for product descriptions and how-to sections in HTML format. Verify that all URLs for these pages are correct and match the proper structure, ensuring no broken links. (30 minutes)
9. Move the search box from one page to another in the blog section to facilitate more specific content searches. (15 minutes)
10. Add a close (X) button to the login box in the footer, under the "Sell" section, to make it easier for users to dismiss it. **(Note: This already exists on the web version, so this task is only for fixing the responsiveness issue.)** (20 minutes)
11. Assist in preparing and publishing all products to Amazon. The module is installed from Webkul, but what is missing are ASINs and some other details. Ensure that everything is correct since Amazon is asking for many things in the Webkul module. (60 minutes)
Skills Required:
- Strong expertise in Magento 2.4.3 frontend and backend development
- In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to handle frontend changes and visual design adjustments
- Experience with Magento SEO optimization, particularly in fixing URL structures and handling URL rewrites
- Familiarity with Git for code management and working with existing codebases
- Attention to detail, ensuring that all design and functionality issues are resolved with precision
- Ability to implement responsive design, ensuring all changes work well across all devices
Questions:
a. What are your last 3 projects involving frontend and SEO work for Magento 2?
b. Are you aware that this is a short project with quick fixes that need to be completed efficiently?
c. What is your estimated delivery date for this work?
Please provide your answers and examples of your previous work related to Magento 2.4.3. This is a time-sensitive project, and we look forward to your application.
**Total Estimated Time: 485 minutes (8 hours and 5 minutes)**
PS! I will assist in some of the tasks so it will be done faster.
