As the project owner, I'm looking for an expert in calendar calculations with JavaScript, Java, and C expertise to help update the lunar calendar on my existing webpage: https://www.imamalmahdisigns.com/Original_Hijjri_Calendar/default.htm.

The key change would be the adaptation of my webpage's lunar calendar to run calculations based on my own moon visibility criteria.

Here are the specifics:
- This is NOT the usual lunar Hijri calendar
- Implement calculations for the FIRST DAY of the lunar month ONLY based on actual crescent moon visibility code. Current code starting day of the lunar month (DAY 1) is by fixed calculations with pre-determined alternating 29 / 30 day long lunar months.
- In (calendar.js) the changes will be for (oislamic) sections ONLY. Update the JavaScript.
- You have to import function for crescent visibility to make the calendar auto-update itself for (DAY 1) as per the crescent sighting using the function provided from another code.
- Two suggested crescent visibility codes are attached. Other codes are available to the public online.
Or, there is an app that already do that. Just copy the code: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.AMAJamry.SunMoonCal&hl=en&gl=US. If you install that app, in Setting > Calendar > Lunar Hijri Method > Moon sighting method. This is the code that I am looking for. Copy it with its calculations into a .js file then import that function into calendar.js. That app code is attached.
- And then make modifications on the criteria using my attached criteria.
- The diagram for the steps for this job attached as a drawing.

Ideal skills and experience:

- In-depth JavaScript, Java and C expertise, particularly in performing complex calendar calculations
- Prior experience of working with astronomical data.

With these changes, the calendar on my website will more accurately reflect the lunar cycle in a way that aligns with my personal criteria. The project will be considered successful when the calculations provide the accurate marked first day on the lunar month compared to crescent visibility apps.
