Local Area Delivery Person

We are looking for a reliable and self-motivated delivery person to join our team on a freelance basis. You will be responsible for picking up and delivering items within the local area, ensuring timely and secure delivery to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick up and deliver packages, groceries, or other items within a designated area.
Ensure accurate delivery to specified addresses, verifying the identity of recipients when required.
Handle packages with care to prevent damage.
Communicate promptly in case of delays, route changes, or delivery issues.
Maintain a record of completed deliveries and any necessary paperwork.
Provide exceptional customer service to clients.
Requirements:
A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Access to a reliable vehicle, bicycle, or other mode of transportation suitable for deliveries.
Smartphone with GPS capability for route navigation and communication.
Familiarity with the local area and its neighborhoods.
Strong time-management and organizational skills.
Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in delivery services.
Flexibility to work on short notice.
Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
Compensation:
Payment will be made on a per-delivery basis, with competitive rates. Additional bonuses for consistent performance or high-volume deliveries.
