Job Portal using InvenioRDM
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm looking to create a comprehensive Jobs Portal that seamlessly connects job seekers and employers using InvenioRDM. This project will consist of the following three milestones:
**Milestones**:
1- Customizing DataCite Schema and Mapping Jobs :
- Provide the selected developer with a JSON file containing job data.
- Customize the DataCite schema to accommodate job-related information.
- Ingest the JSON jobs after mapping it to the right schema.
2- Feature Refinement and Cleanup:
- Remove unnecessary features from the platform to streamline the application for job-focused functionality.
- Eliminate elements related to the old project that are irrelevant to the new job search application.
- Ensure that the user interface is tailored specifically for job search, enhancing user experience.
- Completion of this milestone results in a polished, job-centric application.
3- Integration of Search Engine with API:
- Connect the search frontend with an API. The API will get the user query, and return JSON parameters like "job title, location, required salary"
- The retrieved JSON parameters will be utilized in generating search filters.
**Ideal skills and experience for this job include:
- Knowledge of Python Flask, or similar.
- Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Opensearch, or similar.
- Preferred, knowledge about InvenioRDM.
- Knowledge of Dockers
