Javascript expert to build an ajax function for serial number warranty validation

I need a javascript exprert to update or propose changes to existing webpage script. We have a dynamic generated form already and we need a button click event to complete an ajax request that checks the validity of a serial number if it is in warranty or not. There is already a similar functionality but we want to alter the logic a bit.
