Javascript - click series of buttons in modals as they appear for items on page

I have a page with a bunch of icons, when the icon is clicked a modal appears asking for the user to uncheck the item from a list and then confirm the choice. I want to automate clicking each of these items by running a script in the console. I have the selectors and can get the script to work on an individual item but when it fails when I try to loop through every item on the page.

Anyone that knows how to use callbacks or promises should be able to do this in minutes.
