Javascript/HTML/CSS Web Developer For a Quick Project Using Google Maps API
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We are looking for a Javascript Developer with CSS, HTML, and Google Maps API experience to assist with a quick feature. The deadline is Tuesday, September 28, 2021. Here is a brief description of the project:
The customer website has a "get directions" button that connects to Google Maps API and is supposed to return a page with directions using the store location and the user location. However, if the user locations services is disabled and the user has opted to not receive notifications about enabling the location services, the "get directions" button will simply not return any results. We are looking for a solution that might involve validating whether the user has location services enabled and, if not, give the user a custom message about the need to enable location services in order to view directions. We are also open to suggestions on a better solution or implementation.
