JavaScript Visualization Library Development

Job ID: 38362626

Budget: $25 – $50 AUD

I'm seeking an expert programmer to create a cutting-edge JavaScript visualization library. The project entails the development of a unique argument map visualization with animation capability. This will be used to create videos ready to be narrated.

Key functionalities:

- Automatic position of nodes based on parent child relation ship and text size to minimise overall chart size. This is particularly important to ensure the visualisation works well for a 16:9 video format with a vertical scroll. (See attached arguman example for a good position format)
- Titling and descriptive body text for each node that affects the nodes size.
- Node customisation for title and body text, background colour and rounded icon.
- Time-delayed animation to sequentially reveal each arrow and node.
- Chart data should be accepted as JSON
- Arrows should be drawn at right angles to keep the visualisation clean no matter how many child nodes there are.

The overall look should be somewhat similar to a vertical organisation chart. However visually it should follow a modern UI minimalist look (see attached style png for reference) and make it easy to distinguish between the node types of initial claim, supporting argument & counter argument.

Skills and Experience:

- Proficient in JavaScript programming
- Prior experience in creating visualization libraries will be highly valued.
- Knowledge in argument maps.
- Familiar with interactive features such as animation & dynamic positioning
