JavaScript Tables (Sorting/filtering/searching)
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
In this small assignment, you will implement a javascript table onto one webpage. The table will allow searching/filtering/sorting of the data.
It is recommended you choose to use one of the popular JavaScript table frameworks like AG Grid, Handsontable or DataTables. These libraries have plenty of examples on how to do similar things to what is required. An example which shows all the functions is: https://www.ag-grid.com/example.php
I will provide you access to a Google Apps Script project where there will be one webpage. There will be a standard HTML table in the webpage. You then add the javascript to make the table come alive with the searching/filtering/sorting. The searching/filtering/sorting will be processed in the browser with no further trips to the server required.
Each of the data columns could have a different datatype to be sorted. For example, some fields will be text, some dates and some numbers.
The existing webpage uses bootstrap and jQuery.
My guess is that someone who is familiar with this type of coding/technology would take a few hours to do this assignment.
