JavaScript Code Debugging Expert Needed

Job ID: 37846766

Budget: €30 – €250 EUR

I am in need of a skilled JavaScript developer to debug and correct some issues in my code.

Specifically, here are the issues that need to be addressed:
- The code does not produce the correct output
- It is interfering with the correct interaction of other scripts and functions on my site
- Overall functionality of my website/application is obstructed due to current code problems

Please note, you'll be expected to revise the existing code which I will provide upon project initiation.

Ideal skills and experience for this role include:
- Exceptional proficiency in JavaScript programming and debugging
- Solid understanding of how to manage code interaction within a complex digital ecosystem
- Proven experience rectifying website functionality issues stemming from problematic code

With your bid, I’d appreciate it if you could share examples of past projects where you diagnosed and rectified JavaScript errors similar to mine. Looking forward to collaborating on this crucial task.

The code is about an online interactive game where users will engage with a series of scenarios, each initiated by watching a short, full-screen video hosted on YouTube. These videos will be embedded within my game interface without any controls. Each scenario presents users with a choice via a form displayed at the bottom-right of the screen. Based on their selection, users will proceed to watch a corresponding video, leading to a new scenario and subsequent choices.

The basic flow of the game is as follows:
Step 1: Playback a YouTube video in full screen without controls, initiating the current scenario.
Step 2: Upon video completion, display a form with radio buttons for user choice.
Step 3: Allow users to make and submit a choice.
Step 4: Repeat the process by playing the YouTube video corresponding to the user's choice, advancing to the next scenario.
All scenarios are defined in JSON files (e.g., scenario1.json, scenario2.json), facilitating seamless progression through the game based on user choices.

New Code Implementation (OPTIONAL):
1. Video List Exclusion: Prevent the appearance of YouTube's suggested video list at the end of each video to maintain focus on the form interaction.
2. Waiting Video: After the main video ends, if a scenario does not include a timer (e.g., displayTimer=No), a designated looped video (e.g., the game's logo) will occupy the screen while the form remains visible for user interaction.

Final Game Flow (OPTIONAL):
Step 1: Play the main video of the current scenario in full screen, excluding YouTube's suggested video list.
Step 2: Upon video completion, immediately start a looped video (waiting video) while displaying the form for user choice.
Step 3 (Time Enabled): If displayForm=Yes, displayTimer=Yes, countTime=XX, present the form with a timer. If users choose within the allotted time, proceed to the next scenario; otherwise, transition to another scenario (e.g., timeEnds.json).
Step 3 (Time Disabled): If displayForm=Yes, displayTimer=No, replay the looped video until users make a choice, advancing to the next scenario and initiating its main video playback. Repeat from Step 1.

PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR FINAL PAYMENT. NO BIDS. NO TIME WASTE
