Interactive Online Map Project
I am looking for a skilled developer to create an interactive online map with the following features:
- Markers and pop-up information: The map should include markers that can be clicked on to display relevant information about a specific location.
- Searchable locations: Users should be able to search for specific locations on the map and have them highlighted.
- Customizable layers: The map should have customizable layers that allow users to toggle between different views or data sets.
Data Sourcing:
- Although I do not have existing data for the map, I know where to source the necessary data. The developer should be able to assist in obtaining the data.
Timeframe:
- The desired timeframe for completing the project is more than 4 weeks. This allows for thorough development and testing of the interactive features.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with mapping libraries and frameworks, such as Leaflet or Google Maps API.
- Knowledge of data sourcing and integration to ensure accurate and up-to-date information on the map.
