Interactive Geographic Data Map -- 2

Job ID: 39797885

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I have a set of geographic data that needs to come to life on an interactive web-based map. The goal is clear: turn raw coordinates and place-based attributes into an intuitive data-visualization experience, where users can zoom, pan, click points or polygons, and instantly see the underlying information.

What I already have
• Clean CSV/GeoJSON files with latitude-longitude pairs and related fields.
• A general color-coding scheme for each category of data.

What I need from you
• Build the map front-end with a modern library—Leaflet, Mapbox GL JS, or an equivalent you’re comfortable with.
• Load my dataset, style it according to the provided scheme, and add hover/click pop-ups that surface key details.
• Standard controls (zoom, reset view) plus a search or filter panel so users can isolate specific layers or categories.
• Responsive behaviour on desktop and mobile.
• A short read-me explaining how to swap in updated data files later.

Acceptance criteria
✓ All data points render without errors and adjust dynamically during zoom.
✓ Interactions (hover, click, filter) complete in under one second on a typical broadband connection.
✓ Code is handed over in a Git-ready folder structure with clear comments.

If you have previous examples of interactive data-viz maps, send a link so I can gauge how closely they match what I’m after. I’m ready to start as soon as I find the right mapping expert.
