Improve CMS Image Editor Integration -- 2
Budget: €20 – €50 EUR
I’m looking for a developer who can finish the new image editor into our open-source SveltyCMS code-base.
Scope
• Fix the the MediaGallery and the MediaUpload widget—so they load and save images correctly.
• Complete the remaining image-editor widgets that were started but never finalized.
• Refine the editor’s UX so it feels as smooth and intuitive as Pintura (clean toolbars, drag handles, responsive layout, keyboard shortcuts where sensible).
• Expose the editor wherever images are handled: selecting files from the media gallery, uploading a new asset, or editing an existing one.
Tech & Workflow
The project lives in the “next” branch of our repo: https://github.com/SveltyCMS/SveltyCMS/tree/next
Stack: SvelteKit, TypeScript, Vite and Tailwind. Familiarity with browser-based canvas work is a plus.
Deliverable
A clean, well-documented pull request against the next branch that:
1. Fixes the widgets listed above.
2. Integrates the image editor across gallery and upload flows.
3. Passes the existing unit tests and lint rules.
I’ll review the PR, run a quick functional test in the CMS, and merge once everything works smoothly.
