Houzez Real Estate Site Upgrades
Budget: $30 – $100 USD
To manage Propertyshow.com and rely on the Houzez WordPress theme (https://themeforest.net/item/houzez-real-estate-wordpress-theme/15752549). My current developer is swamped, so I’m bringing in another pair of hands to keep momentum going.
Website Monthly maintenance will be open to discuss if available by selected web developer.
Day-to-day you will jump between three core areas: adding fresh property listings as they arrive, refining the theme’s functionality so it truly fits our workflow, and hunting down any bugs or performance bottlenecks that creep in. The theme already looks great; what I need is sharper function.
Key enhancements on the roadmap:
• Build out a smarter, faster advanced search that filters by price, location, number of rooms, and other custom taxonomies we’re already collecting.
• Re-work the property details template so we can surface richer data (think nearby amenities, floor-plan gallery, and mortgage calculator) without slowing page load.
You’ll be working inside WordPress with the usual stack—PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and a dash of CSS/SASS—while respecting Houzez’s framework so future updates stay painless. Clean, well-commented code and Git commits are non-negotiable because our existing developer needs to follow your changes.
If improving a live real-estate platform sounds exciting, let’s talk specifics and get you access to the staging server right away.
