History.js for AJAX one page PWA

Made Easy Group are looking to expand and add new features into their flagship product “Homes Made Easy”, A web-based application (PWA) for the realty industry.
We are looking for a developer with experience (JS, PHP, Laravel) to implement a method to manage session history.
The AIM of this task to allow the end user to have a fast, and for a seamless user experience.
Currently in our system, a frontend user searches for a property, changes to the second page, then views a property, upon navigating back the users search, this currently takes them back to the start.
This will be demonstrated upon acceptance of the task.
We believe history.js is the solution.
In the frontend of the App we need to integrate History.js so when a user goes from listing to property, then back to listing, the page position will be restored and any filters.
One complication is, If a user accesses the app through a property page URL, the back button would need to direct to the first page at the top of the listing page, however this will be discussed further upon starting this task
