Help with small Vue.js game
Budget: $200 – $400 USD
I am looking for a Vue.js / TypeScript developer with to help with the next stage of a small gaming project.
We are extending an open source pool game and need some help completing the next stage.
1 - Complete the basic multiplayer functionality.
This part includes correctly switching from one player to another when the player turn changes. This also includes indicating which player is playing on the screen in the player status. This does not include the correct game rules at this time. The opponent player should be able to see the cue stick movements of the player when the player turn changes. This will only involve client side coding.
2 - There is bug when the ball is potted. Sometimes it get stuck in the potted balls bar.
3 - Changing the hit strength functionality.
I would also to change the hit strength. The strength of the hit will depend on the distance the cue stick is pulled back. At the moment the strength of the hit depends on the speed the mouse is pushed forward. This will be easier for tablets or people using laptops without a mouse. This will also be easier for regular desktops with a mouse. Please see Miniclip Pool.
I would like to keep the existing version of the cue stick movement. There should be a setting in the settings to enable the player to switch between the two modes.
4 - The hit position should be currently fully integrated into the game. At the moment it is partly integrated and there are some bugs with this integration.
5 - The table should be lined up properly with the cushion. This can be changed by changing the graphic or changing the co-ordinates of the boundaries and moving the pockets.
