Gya Labs - Hiring for Senior Software Engineer
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
The Software Engineer's primary responsibility is to implement, develop, and maintain Gya Lab's digital presence across a variety of websites. This role will work with other web developers to make Gya Lab's content more accessible and accurate, to enable commerce for Gya Labs products, and to provide business tools to Gya Lab's international markets, Wellness Advocates, Wholesale Customers, and prospects. Job Responsibilities :
Implements code in accordance with specifications
Assists with system debugging and troubleshooting.
Ensures code quality by authoring unit tests
Contributes to system analysis and troubleshooting by analyzing current implementation, understanding business rules, and querying data sources.
In collaboration with team leaders, refactors code as needed.
Develops mastery of specific systems or subsystems
Works with team leadership to provide estimates
Maintains systems by fixing bugs and incorporating new feature requests.
Able to work with minimal supervision
During the development process, effectively collaborates with the technical team, web designers, analysts, and partners.
Assumes responsibility for successful project development and implementation.
Responsible for ongoing project support and maintenance.
Troubleshoot development and production issues in a variety of environments and operating systems.
Ensures that technical solutions are properly developed and that all code is reviewed with team leadership.
Accepts responsibility for completing new and varied requests; investigates opportunities to add value to the team
Job Qualifications:
Minimum of 5+ years of Java/JEE (JSP in particular)
Master's degree preferred (Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, etc.)
5+ Years experience in public cloud development and deployment, AWS preferred
Web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax)
Web frameworks (jQuery, Bootstrap, and similar)
Data management (SQL, XML, JSON, Hibernate)
Web services (REST, SOAP)
Spring Framework
JUnit testing
SASS/LESSGIT
Experience working in Issue Management Systems (i.e. Jira, Workfront, Trello, and so on)
Automation testing
Continuous Integration and Delivery (i.e. Jenkins, GitLab Runners, and so forth)
Agile methodologies
SAP Hybris (preferred)
