Google Sheets Scripts - Cell Merger

Hello,

I am frequently merging cells and I would like for this to be automated before I start making many different versions of this sheet.
Let's use the HOUSEWARES sheet as an example
I need A4:G to be merged vertically based on what cells in column C are the same. Same columns will always be next to eachother.
Then I would need columns H through J merged based on what is in column J. However there will be many occurances of the same values in column J. This will have to be only if the A through G columns are also merged.
Please see attached image for example merging.
This needs to be done on multiple sheets, but I would want the script to target the current sheet I was on
