Force Google Docs to Always Use Light Mode (Override Dark Theme)

I’m using Google Docs as part of a collaborative writing and publishing workflow. However, when my system or browser is in dark mode, Google Docs automatically switches to a dark theme (black background, white text).

This creates problems when copying/pasting text into other tools like You Need a Wiki — the font color is preserved as white and becomes invisible against a light background.

Goals:
Force Google Docs to always display in light mode, regardless of:

System-wide dark mode

Browser theme

OS or device settings

Provide a simple and permanent solution, such as:

A browser extension

A custom user script (e.g., using Tampermonkey)

A workaround using CSS or injected JS

(Optional) Provide a toggle or setting to switch back to dark mode if needed

Technical Requirements:
Works on Chrome (priority) and possibly Firefox

Compatible with personal and Workspace Google accounts

Doesn't affect other Google tools (e.g., Gmail, Sheets, etc.) unless specified
