I am looking for an experienced Google Chrome Extension developer to build a translation and captioning tool.
Project Overview:
The extension should be capable of:
Translating text from any language to the user's desired language.
Automatically detecting and adding captions to videos played on web pages.
Key Requirements:
Expertise in Chrome Extension development.
Familiarity with relevant APIs, such as Google Cloud Translation and Google Cloud Speech-to-Text, or alternatives.
Strong background in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Ability to design a user-friendly and intuitive UI/UX for the extension.
Respect for user data and privacy - no unnecessary data collection, and clear communication about any required permissions.
Proven track record of developing extensions or similar projects.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and test the Chrome extension as per the requirements.
Collaborate with me for feedback and iterations.
Provide post-launch support for bug fixes or minor changes.
