Google Ads Conversation Tracking

I have added a conversation tracking code to my site, for when a sale is made and I can see the tracking code in the source, but unfortunately I'm having problems with the tracking being recorded in Google Ads.
I'm looking for a dev to check the code and add it in properly.
I emailed Google and their response was:
