Fullstack React/Firebase Engineer

We are looking for a Fullstack React/Firebase Engineer that will be responsible for developing new user-facing features using React.js and Firebase/Firestore, building social media API integrations, as well as troubleshooting and debugging existing features for performance optimization and usability. The candidate should have experience in building MarTech and/or marketplace products, and a passion for software development and solving complex problems using code.
We envision this role to eventually become a lead engineering role with our team.
Our current stack is Github, Firebase, Javascript/React, Node.Js, HTML, Sellenium and Python.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new user-facing features using React.js for our brand and creator community.
- Build and maintain social media API integrations in our code base.
- Work actively in directing the product roadmap, strategy, and make technical decisions that scale the team.
- Write and maintain quality code in a continuous code integration, testing and monitoring environment.
- Ensuring code security and compliance.
- Collaborating in testing, validation and QA.
- Fixing software bugs & defects and providing required support.
Skills & Qualifications::
- Javascript/React, Node.js (3-5 years experience)
- GCP, Firebase/Firestore (3-5 years experience)
- Experience in building MarTech and marketplace products.
- Proven ability to think strategically and solve problems creatively.
- Ability to translate designs/prototypes into lasting, high-quality code
- Experience in shipping production-quality applications at scale
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Passionate about web standards and accessibility
- Strong communication skills with a problem-solving mindset
- Ability to quickly identify issues and debug code in high-pressure situations
