Full-Stack TypeScript Developer for Sports Platform -- 2
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We’re on a mission to build the next-generation youth sports discussion platform, and we’re looking for a skilled full-stack TypeScript developer to join us in shaping it. The core of the platform is already in place — clean code, modern tools, and a strong early-access community. Now we need someone who’s excited to push the product further, enhancing performance, adding smart features, and polishing the experience.
You’ll be working with a tech stack that’s modern and thoughtfully structured:
Frontend is built with React 18, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Vite, and shadcn/ui
Backend is powered by Supabase — using PostgreSQL, Edge Functions, Auth, and Real-time features
For state and form management, we rely on React Query, React Hook Form, and Zod
It’s all integrated within Lovable.dev, a low-code builder that we extend with custom logic for flexibility and speed
Your role will involve end-to-end feature development — from advanced user profiles and moderation tools to notifications and backend enhancements. You’ll fine-tune the UI using Tailwind and shadcn/ui, optimize SQL queries in Supabase, and build secure, scalable logic in both frontend and backend layers. Clean, modular TypeScript is a must.
You should be confident working with modern tools like React Router, React Query, and Supabase’s Edge Functions, and comfortable implementing things like input validation, XSS protection (via DOMPurify), and robust user auth. If you've worked on community or real-time platforms before — even better.
This is a remote-first project with async collaboration (via GitHub, Slack, and Loom). It’s more than just a forum — we’re building a long-term product with meaningful community impact. You’ll have real input in product decisions and can grow with us as the platform scales.
