Full-Stack Product Engineer
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
**Overview**
We’ve built a set of scrappy, proof-of-concept prototypes for **EchoLog**—a mobile-first web app where readers record short audio reflections, unlock peers’ insights, and watch a mini knowledge-graph grow in real time. Now we need an experienced product-minded engineer who can take these idea demos and turn them into a polished, secure, scalable MVP ready for private beta.

**What You’ll Do**
*• Audit & prioritize:* Review our current Replit / no-code prototypes, identify gaps, and propose a clear technical roadmap.
*• Architect & build:* Stand up a production Next.js 14 stack (TypeScript, Tailwind, React Player, Supabase or Replit DB) with email magic-link auth, audio recording/upload, AI transcription (OpenAI Whisper or equivalent), and a reactive knowledge-graph mini-map.
*• Polish UX:* Implement responsive layouts, smooth micro-interactions, and a “smart home” dashboard that surfaces next steps, recent activity, and recording shortcuts.
*• Ship & iterate:* Deploy to Vercel (or similar), set up CI/CD and basic analytics, and run weekly sprints to reach a stable private-beta release.
*• Coach the team:* Document decisions, pair with our non-technical founder on feature trade-offs, and leave us with maintainable, well-commented code.

**Ideal Skill Set**
* 3 + yrs building production React / Next.js apps (App Router experience preferred)
* Audio handling in the browser (MediaRecorder API, waveform players, storage)
* Integrating AI services (Whisper, GPT taggers, vector search)
* Data-model design and lightweight graph / network visualizations (React Flow or D3)
* Tailwind + component library proficiency for clean, mobile-first UIs
* DevOps basics: Vercel, GitHub Actions, monitoring, error tracking
* Bonus: EdTech or social-learning product experience
