Front-end developer for facial mapping project
Budget: $30 – $40 USD
We’re looking for a proficient front-end software engineer experienced in ReactJS/ JavaScript to assist us in finishing our IPD application.
Project description:
The app uses the device’s camera to take some facial measurements based on a series of points that are placed on the user’s face.
The app uses a credit card validation method: the user has to place a card on their forehead in order to trigger the measurement process.
The app development has already started, but we need your help to optimize the way the points (which add up to a mesh/net of points) behave and track the user’s head movement.
We aim to implement a more visually-appealing and smooth animation, similar to this one: https://bit.ly/3dI2aUJ
Technical tasks:
• Improve the way the mesh behaves: it’s laggy and slow currently
• Customize the library that was used for this mesh to track the face in real time: https://justadudewhohacks.github.io/face-api.js/docs/index.html
• You can also work with this library: https://google.github.io/mediapipe/
