Front-End Developer
Budget: €12 – €18 EUR
Along with the web lead developer, the database engineer, and the app developer, you will work on the back-end and front-end development and maintenance of our website www.tomplay.com. Your tasks will vary including:
- Support and create engaging/modern user experiences per stakeholder's specifications in the form of clean, W3C-compliant front-end code. Focusing on web- standards, semantics, usability, accessibility, and optimization, with special consideration given to code architecture, modularity, and reusability.
- Analytics tagging implementation.
- Aid and advise on processes, technology, and tools used for custom web development.
- Be a point of contact for cross-functional technical projects and programs. These include project/program execution, requirements gathering, technical execution and deployment.
What we require from you:
- Strong background in HTML, CSS, JavaScript with at least 3 years of experience.
- Experience with JavaScript and jQuery, Bootstrap, and has experience in making adaptive pages (for mobile, tablet and desktop).
- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
- Experience with performance optimization tools such as YSlow or PageSpeed Insights.
- Good knowledge of Git.
- English speaking, very good communication skills, open-minded, precise and solution oriented. Initiative and involvement are highly appreciated.
- Experience with AWS Cloud Front and S3 is a plus, but not mandatory.
