Fix bugs and refactor existing CLI JS script
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I have an existing Javascript applet which is working 99% of the way.
I am looking for a skilled JavaScript developer to be able to fix the pending issues, and refactor the script into more easier and manageable files/modules.
The script needs to be able to run from command line on macOS under the NodeJS framework.
The applicant must have a Github account, and capable of creating PRs. This is the only way I am accepting submissions as it will be merged directly into the original codebase.
I think the scope is fairly simple since all the code is pre-written, so I was hoping this project wouldn't take more than 1 week.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and CLI scripting
- Experience in identifying and fixing functionality issues in JS scripts
- Knowledge of data manipulation and movement in CLI environments
- Ability to refactor code to improve efficiency and performance
- Familiarity with best practices in CLI script development
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
As I don't want to deal with auto-generated applications, please state somewhere in the beginning of your application "the sun rises in the east".
