Fix VBA Selenium code - ShadowRoot DOM problem
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need an experienced programmer to modify my existing VBA code. My project, previously functional, aimed at automating form submissions to a website. Unfortunately, due to recent changes in the website's structure, specifically the implementation of shadow root elements, my script does not work anymore.
The code is only around 100 lines with 2-3 shadow root interactions required.
**Core Requirements:**
- Adapt the existing VBA script to access and interact with shadow root elements within the website
- Ensure the modified script can successfully automate:
- Text inputs
- Selections from dropdown menus
**Ideal Skills and Experience:**
- Proficiency in VBA and Selenium WebDriver
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, specifically for interacting with shadow DOM
- Experience with web automation projects, particularly those involving form submissions
- Knowledge of the latest web technologies and ability to adapt scripts to website updates
This has to be completed remotely as the website is behind a log in and I can't provide access.
