Fix AI Chat UI to Stream Agent Responses One-by-One (React/TypeScript, lovable.dev + GitHub)
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m building a multi-agent AI chat app using React and TypeScript. The app is nearly complete, but there’s a serious issue with how agent responses are displayed in the UI. I need someone who can dig into the code and fix the async response flow so agents reply naturally—one at a time.
This project is managed on lovable.dev, connected to GitHub. Once I give you access, you’ll be able to commit changes directly to the connected GitHub repo. When you push the fix, it will automatically update inside lovable.dev for live testing.
The Problem:
- When a user sends a message, multiple AI agents generate replies.
- The first 1–2 messages appear quickly.
- Then the remaining responds do not come in for 20–30 seconds.
- Finally, all the other replies appear at once, creating a jarring experience.
- In some cases, the early responses disappear when final ones render.
What Needs to Happen:
- Fix the UI so agent messages are displayed one-by-one, spaced 1–2 seconds apart.
- Ensure no long delays while agent responses are generating.
- Ensure the system queues and displays each message sequentially, even if some responses take longer than others.
- Use correct React keys to prevent one message from replacing another.
- Leverage the existing queue system in the app; you may refactor or replace it only if necessary.

- Platform: lovable.dev (UI builder connected to GitHub)
Workflow:
- You’ll be granted access to the GitHub repo connected to lovable.dev.
- You will push your fix to a specific branch (or PR) in the repo.
- lovable.dev will auto-sync your updates for testing.
- Once the fix is confirmed, I’ll merge and deploy.
Ideal Freelancer:
- Deep understanding of async behavior in React
- Experienced with chat UIs or real-time UI queues
- Knows how to avoid React state batching/race condition issues
- Can debug and fix without rewriting everything
- Bonus: Familiarity with lovable.dev or low-code platforms
Deliverables:
- Agent responses appear one-by-one in the correct order
- No freezing, lag, or all-at-once message dumping
- Placeholder responses persist until final replies arrive
- Clean, readable code pushed to GitHub (with optional comments)
