Fix Astro Google Analytics Tracking -- 2
Budget: $14 – $30 NZD
My Astro-built site http://teamworx.co.nz is receiving traffic, Google Tag Manager is firing, yet nothing appears in Google Analytics. There is no cookie-consent script running, only a single GA4 property, and the GA tag is already linked through GTM, so the blockage is happening somewhere between the tag and GA.
I need you to jump in, trace the issue, and have real-time page-view hits show up on the GA dashboard. Feel free to adjust GTM, tweak consent mode, inspect the Astro build, or add diagnostic tools—whatever gets the data flowing. Once I can open the Realtime report and see my own visits registering, the job is done and payment is released.
Please note it is a single page app so I have added custom triggers on a page_view event.
Deliverables
• Root-cause explanation and the exact fix applied
• Realtime page views visible in the linked GA property
• Brief note on any future maintenance I should know about
If you’ve debugged GA4 through GTM on modern frameworks like Astro before, this should be quick work.
