Finish Abandoned Website Build -- 2
Budget: $10 – $150 USD
The Eternity Ready site is halfway there—design files, codebase, and staging server are all in place—but the previous developer bowed out before launch. I need the remaining pieces wrapped up so the site can go live smoothly and without lingering bugs.
Current status
• Core pages are built and styled, though a few screens are still placeholders.
• Forms, newsletter sign-up, and payment gateway are wired up in the template but not fully tested.
• Some copy and images sit in a shared drive, waiting to be dropped in.
What still has to happen
• Finish any missing page layouts and adjust the existing CSS so every breakpoint looks clean.
• Connect the remaining front-end components to their back-end logic and verify API keys.
• Insert the final text, photos, and downloadable PDFs, making sure everything is formatted consistently.
• Run a full QA pass—links, forms, mobile responsiveness, basic on-page SEO, and 404 handling.
• Migrate the finished build from staging to production, then confirm SSL and analytics are firing.
Acceptance criteria
• No console errors or 404s on launch.
• All forms submit successfully and trigger the correct email notifications.
• Site loads under three seconds on standard broadband and remains fully responsive.
• Final checklist signed off in our shared doc.
You’ll have SSH/SFTP access to the server, admin rights to the CMS, the original Figma files, and a folder containing every asset already approved. Let me know if you need anything else to pick up the code and carry it home.
