In this fictional assignment, you will create a web application aimed at associations that are affiliated with Sweden's United Film Studios (Links to an external site.) (SFF) where you can book / order films for your association via an API and client interface.
SFF works so that local film enthusiasts form associations (a film studio), these associations are part of membership in SFF which is an association for all film studios in Sweden. SFF buys rights from film distributors to borrow a certain number of copies of various films, which SFF then sends to local associations. The film studio then shows them at, for example, culture houses and smaller cinemas around the country.
Previously, this was done via forms, and the films you could borrow were shipped as large film reels, so films could only be shown at the same time in a limited number of places at a time. Today, the films are sent, and shown, digitally - but the agreements still look the same; so SFF must limit how many film studios can show a certain film at the same time!
